Jeanne Calment, or “the Oldest Woman in the World”, was born in Arles, France on Feb. 21, 1875. She lived to be 122 years old and died at her home in Arles on August 4, 1997. Jeanne Calment was the last person to live to be over 100 years old according to current Guinness World Records
Her life is estimated to have spanned over 120 years of human experience. She was not only the oldest living person until the death of Jiroemon Kimura in June 2001, but also one of the most well-known people in history. She is often referred to as "the world's oldest person" or "the world's oldest woman". Annie Oakley was quite a prolific shooter with a lifetime of over 65 kills with various weapons, including the Winchester '73 rifle, Colt revolver, Remington 870 shotgun, and various handguns.
She showed an amazing ability for fast draw shooting with the Winchester '73 rifle and was named "The Woman Shooter" by Buffalo Bill Cody. No other woman has ever come close to this record.
